Psychological Support Following a Critical Incident
No one should have to face the aftermath of a critical incident alone.
SoinSanté provides specialised psychological support for individuals and organisations following potentially traumatic events.
Our three co-founders, who also train emergency psychologists in French-speaking Switzerland, personally coordinate every intervention. Depending on the situation, they draw on a trusted network of experienced emergency psychologists with whom they regularly collaborate.
We respond to all urgent enquiries by the next working day at the latest.
PsyConnect helps you quickly connect your patients with psychologists specialising in psychological first aid and psychotraumatology.

Supporting Your Teams After a Critical Incident
An assault, inappropriate behaviour, an accident, or the death of a colleague: certain events can have a profound impact on individuals and teams.
We provide timely psychological support in the days following a potentially traumatic event, helping those affected navigate its immediate aftermath.
Our intervention typically begins with an initial consultation shortly after the incident, followed by three to five individual sessions, generally starting the following week. Sessions can take place in person, by phone or via video call.
Unlike an ongoing employee counselling service, our work focuses specifically on acute stress reactions and the psychological impact of potentially traumatic events.
Who Is This Service For?
- Businesses and public authorities
- Social care, educational and healthcare institutions
- Schools and educational establishments
- Emergency services
All individual consultations are confidential.
An Employer’s Duty of Care
In Switzerland, employers have a legal responsibility to protect the physical and psychological health of their employees (Employment Act, Article 6; Ordinance 3, Article 2).
A 2012 ruling by the Swiss Federal Supreme Court also reinforced the importance of measures to prevent and manage psychosocial risks in the workplace.
Providing appropriate psychological support following a critical incident is one way of fulfilling this responsibility, while protecting both the individuals affected and the team as a whole.
Be Prepared Before a Critical Incident Occurs
Effective support begins long before a crisis.
Through a tailored partnership agreement, we help your organisation strengthen its preparedness and capacity to respond. This may include staff training, regular professional supervision and priority access to psychological support following a critical incident.
Together, we define an approach that reflects your organisation’s needs, structure and resources.

For individuals
Psychological Support After a Critical Incident
Following an accident, an assault or another potentially traumatic event, you may feel the need for psychological support in the days that follow.
We offer specialised support to people affected by critical incidents, helping them navigate the aftermath once the immediate emergency has passed.
- Response time: we respond to all enquiries by the next working day at the latest.
- Costs and reimbursement: we clarify the costs and possible sources of funding with you from our first exchange.
- Cover: depending on your circumstances, psychological support may be covered by victim support services (LAVI), if you have been affected by a criminal offence such as an assault, or by accident insurance, in certain circumstances following an accident or critical incident. We help you explore the options available in your situation.
Our three co-founders coordinate requests and work with a trusted network of independent emergency psychologists, allowing us to connect you with an experienced professional as promptly as possible.
Important: we are not an emergency helpline. Our service provides psychological support after the immediate crisis. It does not replace emergency assistance and is not available 24 hours a day.
If someone is in immediate danger, please call 144 (ambulance and medical emergencies) or 117 (police) in Switzerland.
